You may remember sweet little Troy and family from my last blog post. I had the joy of photographing his birth just eight days before his newborn session.

I must say for an eight day old baby, little Troy is super chill. And clearly he wanted to keep an eye on me 😉

I’m sure she is going to take great care of her baby brother.

Baby Boys Birth Day { Hospital Birth Photography }

Kate contacted me back in November about photographing her up coming birth in December. I was over the moon excited! As birth photography seems to becoming more and more my passion I was really looking forward to the end of December;)

Kate and I met and talked about all the details of me being there and what she was hoping for in her birth photographer. She kept me updated about her pregnancy and was hoping to deliver her sweet baby early as she did with her first. This baby has other plans though…

Kate’s husband called me about 10pm on December 20th, I knew it was time to get myself ready for a late night/early morning! I got the call to come to the hospital at 3 the next morning (funny this is the same time I got called out for the last birth I photographed).

Kate you did an amazing job! And thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your sweet baby’s birth day!

And yes this post is some-what photo heavy!

That’s 8lb 13 oz!

Well I guess I’m putting another personal post out here! These cute kids are, well you guessed it mine 🙂 And I love them to bits, and they are the very reason I started taking photography more seriously. After the birth of my daughter 8 years ago I knew I wanted to capture ever moment of her life, well ok maybe not EVERY one, but you get the idea 😉 And to think after all this time they still allow me to pull out my camera and have a little fun with them. Thanks kids for helping me find my passion, I couldn’t have done with without you both. Here are a few images I took of my monkeys. I hope you enjoy them, hey how can you not the kids are darn cute! Oh and this is going to be a photo heavy post!

And as always,thank YOU for taking the time to look at my blog 🙂
